An attractive German “Selenus Pattern” fruitwood chess set, 19th century

the lighter side in pearwood, kings and queens with baluster knops, bishops with acorn finials, knights as delicate horses’ heads, rooks as turrets with tapering finials, the king 10.5cm high, the pawn 5.6cm high.
