Good example of a Jaques set dating from the end of the 19th century: Jaques starting stamping both kings around 1885. Condition is generally excellent, with the exception of some repair work to the crown of the black queen. Nice shiny patina and figuring to the boxwood side. Weighted. Box in excellent condition with a very nice example of the famous green label intact.
