These distinctive chess sets with their turned concentric rings to the underside and angular horses' heads have been attributed to Richard Whitty, operating in Liverpool at the end of the 19th century. This set is an especially large example of the type. If you're interested in this set, please contact me for a detailed report. Thank you.
