Attractive antique ‘Edinburgh’ or ‘Northern’ Upright chess set- a pattern which is always popular amongst players and collectors. Comes with the original box. One of the boxwood pawns is most likely to be a period replacement. Not obvious at first glance, but the baize on the underside is a slightly lighter shade of green.
