Lovely chunky St George Pattern chess set with a heavy, weighted movement. The St George Pattern is a classic English pattern. This set was made by the famous company of Jaques of London, usually known for their Staunton chess sets. Both kings are stamped JAQUES LONDON- a rare and desirable find.
