Interesting antique English travelling games set from the second half of the 19th century. The top side is for chess, with pegged bone chessmen. The board can then be flipped over, and used for backgammon on the other side, with pegged backgammon pieces. The pieces are turned from cow bone, so it can be exported internationally without a CITES Export permit.
