Lovely quality Chinese Export set of large size. Despite the supposed connexion to Burma, these sets were acturally made in the ports of Canton or Macao for the export market. The white rook bears the Union Flag or Union Jack. In chess, the first move is made by the white side; this particular set was made for export to the British market.
