A Fine Inlaid Coromandel Games Board/Box for Chess and Backgammon, 19th century
the exterior for chess with alternate squares in satinwood and coromandel, the interior for backgammon with backgammon points inlaid in ivory, 61.5cm wide (when open flat), 52cm deep and 6.1cm high (when open flat), together with a set of 30 antique ebony and ivory turned backgammon counters, leather shaker and ivorine dice, each chess square 6cm wide, the backgammon counters 4.1cm diameter.
