the white king stamped JAQUES LONDON on the rim of the base, knights with flat ears, upraised comb and undrilled eyes, the chessmen with green baize to the undersides, in a hinged oblong mahogany box, with two metal clasps to the front, the interior lined in green baize
Knight: 8.5cm (3.5 inches high)
Pawn: 4.6cm high
Box: 33cm wide, 12.5cm wide, 7.5cm high.

Condition
Good. Slight surface dirt on the boxwood side, flaw to white king top, and further small natural flaw to base of one white knight, neat repair to collar of one white pawn. Box: 'Very Good".
