A Fine Antique Small English Leather Games Board/Box, circa 1875

in the form of a leather 'book' with a double spine: "Hist. of England" in gilt Gothic script, the exterior for chess (the alternate squares in black and red), the interior for backgammon, with black and red points, gilt tooling and "R. M. L."  in gilt Gothic Script, sold with a set of 19th century turned polished bone backgammon counters (stained red and left natural), two black shakers, a set of four die, and a doubling up cube
