Condition
Boxwood Side:
Nicely waxed patina, natural flaw to bishop (with a very slight lean), a few further natural flaws to the wood, green baizes good, but one or two a bit ragged around the edges. Variation to the carving style to the two knight horses, although the original green baize indicate that these were most likely to be original to the set.
Ebony Side:
'Excellent'.
Box:
Green label a bit grubby, with scuffs and scratches, but intact, without loss. Box good, with a few scuffs and minor dents.

A Note From Luke
Nice example of a turn-of-the century unweighted Jaques in the original box. Label is a bit scuffed, but set's in a good shape, with no chips or cracks.
