An English Coromandel Games Compendium, circa 1880, the casket opening to reveal: a pegged ivory chess set, stained red and left natural, an ivory cribbage board, an ivory scoring board, two ivory hand pointer scorers, 30 bone backgammon counters (stained red and left natural), a fitted folding leather board for chess and backgammon; above a sprung drawer revealing: two ivory shakers (stained red and left natural), counters, bone scoring pegs, playing cards and key, 32cm wide, 18.5cm high, 25cm deep.
