Very good to excellent. The ‘red’ side has been painted in a dark red paint. A few very minor surface scratches. The underside of the bases have been mounted with cut green baize, presumably at a later date. The box is good. Slight wear to the silkwork panels. The side of the box slides down neatly, to cover the secret drawer.
