Overall image in good condition in accordance with age, frame easel lacking, some tape staining to reverse frame, the photograph is attached to the frame with glue (apparently contemporary to the image). Elizabeth R signature with some fading due to light exposure.
Signed by Beaton in pencil to lower left edge margin and additionally by Queen Elizabeth II in dark coloured ink (Elizabeth R) to lower margin (faded to a muted brown tone) and dated ‘1953’ (taken 2nd June 1953).
