The box has various old scratch marks and there is an oxidised patch to the rear. There are slightly faded marks to the front of the box from sticky tape. The inset trade label is generally good (without tears) but has some minor foxing and is slightly grubby. The blue and red units are slightly grubby. The ivory rulers are good, but with small chips to the edges. The ivory square scales are good. The steel callipers are slightly rusty. The metal pace scales are slightly tarnished. There is no key. Sold with a facsimile (ie modern copy) Ordnance Survey map of Yorkshire.
