There's a tiny chip to the black queen finial, and another tiny chip to the ear of one black knight. There's some minor chafing to the edge of a black bishop. There's a small chip to the bottom rim of a black bishop. The green baize is also worn to the underside of a black bishop. The green label is worn, stain and has losses (see photograph). There is a crack to the top of the mahogany box. Otherwise a good "Club" size Jaques chess set, dating from the last years of the 19th century. Weighted.
