A most unusual and collectable chess set, but has some repairs and chips:

Chip to red pawn collar, red knight ear, tiny chip to red bishop, chips to finial of red rook, chips to white king, two white knight ears, repair/restaining to red knight crown and red pawn collar, signs of re-gluing and hairline crack to white knight. 

Mahogany box generally good, with the usual minor scuffs and age scratch marks.
