Generally ‘Good’ to ‘Very Good’. Some age-cracks, especially on the chess side. Nice shiny surface patina, with a deep chocolate brown colour to the rosewood. The brass hinges have been replaced at some time (but neatly done), with the space from the original hinges on the side, neatly inlayed with boxwood. Minor restoration to the inlay. Some scuffs, age scratches and nicks.
Counters ‘Very Good’ with minor nicks and cracks. Leather shakers and dice, good.
