“Good” to “Very Good”. Chess set has usual minor surface scratches, minor chips wear and rubbing to the brown stain. Hairline cracks to stems of brown rook, and brown knight.
Two brown bishops, one brown pawn, base of brown knight and central section of brown queen darker in colour and very slightly smaller- most likely to be a period replacement or repair. Please get in touch if you would like to see close up photographs.
Box has scuffs, age cracks, surface wear and dirt. Corner and lid chipped.
