The clocks are in an original, un-tampered condition. The general condition of the clocks is good, and the cases are in an excellent, original and unrestored condition. Two of the clocks appear to have a "stiff mechanism" with a dial not working. The remaining mechanisms appear to be working. One of the clocks has a replacement brass screw to the top of the case. The pine case would originally have had a brass carrying handle- this is now missing. The upper part of the brass lock to the inside of the upper lid, likewise, is missing. There is no key. There is a hand-written note on paper attached to the inside of the lid, written in ink, this has faded with age, and yellowed, and there is small loss to the left hand side.
