Boxwood Side:

Very minor lean on King. Very light variation in pawns, indicating possible replacements. Nice surface patina, with a few surface marks. Stamped indentations to base of one rook (see photograph). A few natural surface flaws.

Ebony Side:

A few natural flaws. Otherwise good.

Box:

Minor surface scratches. Lined with green baize inside. Baize in good condition.

Overall a nice example of an authentic Victorian St George chess.
