Lovely set in excellent condition. Red side has a clean, fresh original cochineal stain.

The rooks feature incised brickwork: the red stain is a bit rubbed on the white rooks. A little bit of rubbing to the stain on the underside of the bases. Otherwise, very hard to find fault.

The rooks flags are screwed into the turrets and the banners swivel around the flagmasts.
