Lighter Brown Side:

Nice shiny patina to the surface, king a bit warped, very minor warp to top of queen, crack to bone mount on bishop, one pawn slightly warped, the canted sides of the bishops and the rook battlements are high-lighted with red stain.

Darker Brown Side:

Natural (?) flaw to base of knight, king, queen and bishop slightly warped, pawn slightl warped, one pawn bone mount probably replaced.
