Backgammon interior fresh and excellent and in a ‘near mint’ condition. Lovely gilt tooling. Chess exterior with a few scuffs, minor wear, a few ‘dings’and restoration here and there, also very slightly grubby in places; marbled end-papers ‘very good’ with smalll rubbed patch to one side. But generally a very nice board in a hard-to-find decent condition.

Asser & Sherwin counters ‘Very Good’. Sliding lid on box has age crack.
