Boxwood Side:

Attractive figuring and patina to the wood. Thin rim of Queen very slightly chipped, chip to Knight cross. Two pawns slightly warped. Otherwise excellent. All baizes match.

Ebony Side:

Chip to Queen crown. Otherwise excellent. All baizes match.

Box:

Inset with a late Victorian silver monogram on the lid. A few thin, hairline cracks to the lid. Green label in excellent, above-average condition, with very slight indenting and very minor staining. Otherwise excellent. No key.
