Red Side:
Stain rubbed and faded to a red/pink colour. Green baizes to the underside of the bases added at a later date.
White Side:
JAQUES LONDON stamped on underside of white king. Green baizes to the underside of the bases added at a later date (with the exception of the white king, where the baize has been removed to show the Jaques stamp). Very minor hairline crack to top of bishop. Slight yellowing to ivory.
Box:
Generally good. Lid detatchable. Some scuffs and minor dents to leather. Owner’s initials/monogram on lid. 1930’s green label in excellent, near mint condition. Small loss to one corner.
