Boxwood Side:
‘Very Good’. Complete and no warps. Nice grain and shiny patina. Small chip to rim of carved horse head base on Knight, a few very light blue stains to surface.
Ebony Side:
‘Very Good’. Complete and no warps. Miniscule chip to turned decoration on Queen. Likewise, miniscule chip to turned decoration on Bishop. Slight wear to edge of Pawn baulster.
Box:
Good. A few surface scratches. Old repair to side panel.
