Boxwood Side:

Generally good. Nice patination, a few age splits and cracks, general wear, scuffs and nicks. Variation in size of turned pawns. 

Ebony Side:

Generally good. A deep chocolate brown, variaton in size of turned pawns.

 Early set from the Gareth Williams Chess Collection. Knights are especially attractive. Genuinely scarce. Recommended.
