both kings with JAQUES LONDON stamped around the rim of the base in red, each chessman with a green baize lining to the underside, the king 4 ⅜ inches (11.5cm) high, the pawn 2 ¼ inches (5.5cm) high, in a Jaques mahogany box (traces of the green label remaining), 23cm wide.
