A weighted boxwood and ebony "Club Size" chess set by Jaques, circa 1895

both kings stamped JAQUES LONDON in red around the rims of the bases, the king approx. 4 inches (9.9cm high), the pawn 2 inches (5 cm) high, in the mahogany box with a green label: JAQUES & SON, LONDON, 24cm wide.
