An Antique "De-Luxe" Gilt-Tooled Dark Green/Dark Blue Leather Games Board/Box by Asser & Sherwin of London, circa 1860-1882

the exterior for chess, the alternate squares in red and black with an impressed Greek Key pattern border; the interior for backgammon, the points in red and blue with gilt edging, stamped "Asser & Sherwin...80 & 81 Strand" with a blind-stamped Gothic motif
