An Anglo-Indian rosewood and ivory inlaid backgammon board, 19th century
the interior for backgammon, the exterior for chess (with alternate squares in Indian rosewood and boxwood) with further boxwood and ebony inlay, together with a set of 30 boxwood and rosewood turned backgammon counters, two leather shakers and four bone die, 61cm x 51.5cm (when lying flat/open), the chess squares 6cm wide.
