“Repository of Arts”, 96, Strand, London, the hinged lid revealing lift-out tray with a set of watercolour blocks by Newman of Soho Square, a glazed pottery lidded pot, a glazed pottery mixing tablet, further glass jars with powdered pigments, the sliding drawer with small envelopes holding cut-out templates, the inside of the lid with Ackermann & Co. trade label pinned to the wood, 26cm wide, 21cm deep, 8.5cm deep (with lid closed).
