Condition
Good. A few nicks and scuffs and minor 'dings'. Signs of a hairline crack along an inner edge. But a nice example of a rare BCC travelling set.
A Note From Luke
The British Chess Company was founded by William Moffatt and William Hughes in 1891, and for a relatively short period, became the main rival to Jaques.
The British Chess Company stopped trading around 1908. Consequently, BCC sets and boards are genuinely scarce, and now coveted by keen collectors.
