the japanned and gilt brass mounted box in gilt against a black ground and showing Chinese scenes on the hinged lid, the fitted interior lined in blue velveteen, including a set of coloured celluloid gambling chips or counters in blue (48), red (100), green (50), yellow (50) and Eton blue (49) (297 counters in total)
Counters: 3.3cm diameter
Box: 24.5cm wide, 12.5cm deep, 4.7cm high
Stock Reference: VS 1617
Box is in an excellent condition with very little wear. Counters vary slightly in the depth of colour. Otherwise, excellent.
