A Note From Luke
Fattorini & Sons was established in Leeds, in the early 19th century. In 1883, the firm made the first ever chess clock, which included two linked pendulum clocks. By the early 20th century Fattorini was known for its manufacture of sporting trophies, including the Football Association Challenge Cup (more famously known as the F. A. Cup) in 1911.
