the dyed Morocco in chocolate brown with an attractive decorative 'feathered' effect, the tan/chess squares in cream and brown, with gilt-tooled decoration and blind-stamped foliate decoration to the borders, the reverse in chocolate brown with gilt-tooling to the edges

Delightful folding leather board from the early years of the 20th century. Lovely quality and decorated with attractive gilt-tooling and stamped foliate decoration to the edges. The leather has been dyed a chocolate brown, with attractive 'feathered' patterning. The chess squares measure 4.5cm across. Recommended.
