A French “Régence Pattern” early celluloid chess set, circa 1930-50

one side blood red, the otehr side in ‘ivory’, knights with glass eyes, the king 7cm high, the pawn 4cm high, in a faux “lizard” or “crocodile" presentation case, with a velveteen lining and Art Deco metal clasps, 25cm wide.
