An Interesting Indian Bone Chess Set, 19th century

presumably made for export, one side with green stained highlights, the other side with dark red/brown highlights, kings as seated monarchs raised on high columns, queens similar, as seated princes raised on high columns, bishops as camels raised on columns, knights as horses, taller than the bishops and raised on columns, rooks as elephants raised on columns, the pawns turned and with flat knops, with an embroidered cloth board in silk and cotton

Kings: 13cm high

Pawns: 6cm high

Cloth Board: 56cm wide
