Good. Some surface dirt and dust, chip to base of white queen finial, and crack across stem of white king. Otherwise excellent. Horse knights especially well carved.
A Note From Luke
Nicely carved mid 19th century English set, similar to sets sold by the Lunds, London ivory turners and luxury retailers. The condition is excellent, apart from a chip to the base of the white queen feather finial.
From the collection of a well-known British chess expert and collector.
