An early prototype chess clock or timer, presumably for Fattorini & Sons of Bradford, 1881/2

two carriage clocks with white metal and brass cases, faces with Roman numerals, mountred on a ‘see-saw’ platform, with ‘rocker’ motion,  in varnished wood, Pat. US. Jan 25. 1880...Pat. Eng. Dec 8 1880...Pat. Can. Nov. 29 1880... Pat. Ger. June 22 1881, 23cm wide, 9cm deep, 12cm high.
