Rosewood Travelling Chess Set, 19th century
An “Upright” pattern travelling chess set, mid/late 19th century, the pegged polished bone pieces stained red and left natural, the king 3.8cm high, with a folding rosewood and boxwood inlaid chess board with a brass hook, 15cm wide (when open).
