Generally 'Very Good'. A few old dormant worm holes to the side and back, now wax filled and not especially noticeable. Red paint to the front of the drawers, with the side of the drawers left as bare wood (please see photographs). Otherwise excellent. Complete with bone and bamboo tiles, scoring sticks, dice box and Ming pot, plus instructions.
A Note From Luke
Rather lovely and unusual Shanghai mahjong set from the 1920s. Decent large size, painted an attractive red, with gilt characters in Chinese. Complete and ready to go. Recommended.
