Condition
Hairline crack to black king, tiny chip to the tip of ebony and boxwood Queens crowns, small chip to one white pawn collar, tiny chip to base rim of one black pawn, chip to base of white rook, tiny chip to ear tip of one white knight, tiny chip to ear tip of one ebony knight. Otherwise 'Very Good'. Box: 'Good'. A few minor dent marks to the inside of the lid.
A Note From Luke
Chip to base of white rook, otherwise a lovely little set! Weighted. Possibly by F. H. Ayres- the famed rocking horse maker. The ebony features attractive stratifications to the surface. The base width of the king is 3.3cm, and the base width of the pawn is 2.6cm.
